Despite the success of such products, MET, Industrial Automation and Robotics projects that realize that it is difficult to maintain business life with this project due to many reasons such as raw material aluminum, foreign exchange rates, economic conditions in our country and the long payment times of the construction sector. The reporting of R & D projects to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Technology, which is one of the requirements to operate in the Technopark, also reveals the history and story of MET’s project. In particular, Murat Merdin’s brother Oguz Deniz Merdin joined the company in 2014; We have developed many products from automatic production lines, conveyor systems, qualified machine control software to special machines and found the opportunity to commercialize them. Within the 5 years following its establishment, our company reached a total of 20 projects. Within these projects, 17 Patent Applications, 3 Utility Model Applications and 5 Brand Applications were made. MET, 100% Local and Turkish Engineers have realized these achievements, which reveal Intellectual Industrial Property Rights in patents that have been reviewed and examined without any patent, Registered Useful Models and Marks, and products developed with their own possibilities.
Undoubtedly, these projects have a unique place in our “Industrial Polyurethane FIXTURE”, which we named METFIKS which is the supplier to CERN of European Nuclear Research Center. We have developed a software that allows the hydraulic axes to operate synchronously with the hydraulic axes, and even machine parts on very large sizes have the possibility of parallel movement even when they can not be machined in parallel mechanically. With this technology, CERN’s CMS, which is the heart of the Higgs Bozon, was regarded as the only Turkish firm to bid for the separation of large plates parallel to each other, where energy emissions were tracked after the collision of sub-atomic particles. The greatest feature of the tenderer was that for the first time a Turkish company would supply a product that CERN had developed as a result of its own engineering service rather than the parts it wanted to manufacture. The involvement of MET in the bid was of great interest in the National Baseline.
Technopark The story that started in November 2013 in İzmir, continued until the 10th square meter of the office, then another 20 square meters of office and finally to the MET Factory which is now in operation.
